Your data, plainly
We collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and we tell you exactly where anything goes. Last updated 3 November 2026.
This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no ad trackers. The site remembers your light or dark theme choice in your own browser, and that never leaves your device.
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes basic request information (such as your IP address) to deliver pages and protect against attacks.
- Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers when you visit.
- Email. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply, and keep them only as long as we need to.
Ultimate Controller for Amazon Music
The plugin runs entirely on your own PC. There's no account, and nothing is sent to Rather Spicy.
- What it reads. To show what's playing, it reads information the Amazon Music app already keeps on your computer (track, artist, album, artwork and queue) and Windows' own media and audio controls.
- What stays local. Your settings and Recently Played history are stored on your PC.
- Lyrics (optional). When you use a lyrics action, the song title, artist and album are sent to LRCLIB to look up lyrics.
- Song and artist info (optional). When you use an info action, the song or artist name is sent to Wikipedia to fetch a summary.
- Album links (optional). If you set album art to open the album online, your browser opens the Amazon Music website.
- OBS. OBS actions talk only to OBS running on your own computer or network.
Those third-party services have their own privacy policies. If you don't use the lyrics or info actions, the plugin makes no requests to them.
